491 Power Otolaryngology Chair:
It makes exams, procedures and surgeries faster, easier and more stable. Power positions patients precisely with the touch of a button. The low 22-inch height makes mounting and dismounting easy. The high 31-inch height lets you put patients at your most comfortable working height.
Power back goes from an upright 90-degree angle to completely flat. The auto-return button quickly returns the patient to the dismount position.
Power controls are located on both sides of the chair’s back. An optional foot control that lets you maintain a sterile field may also be ordered.
Your positioning flexibility is enhanced even further with 330 degrees of rotation.

The 491’s solid steel base makes the chair extremely stable. You work with more confidence. And, your patients feel less anxious, especially during delicate otolaryngologic procedures.
Work in close.
A tapered headrest and the narrow 24-inch width let you work in close. Armrests lower when the chair reclines, or rotate up and out of your way. And the footrest locks into the upright position when you flip it out of the way with a touch of your toe for easy front access.
Choose from three headrests.
Three fully articulating styles are available. The 491 comes standard with full-size headrest or you can add an optional Occipital or Contoured headrest.
